National recognition for Greenhead College

Greenhead College is in the top three Sixth Form Colleges nationally according to new government measures of success at A Level.

National education tables published in January 2017 now include data showing high student grades in key academic subjects valued by leading Universities, as well as 'value added', which indicates student progress made since GCSE.

In both categories Greenhead was third nationally when compared to other Sixth Form Colleges.

College Principal, Simon Lett said: "These results confirm that Greenhead College is not just the best A Level College in Yorkshire but one of the very best Sixth Form Colleges in the country."

"The results reflect the hard work and dedication of our staff and the high aspirations of our students. These ensure that students at Greenhead make exceptional progress and achieve high grades, opening the door to top Universities."
