RESOURCES
For each core study taught in the first year, students receive a pack of notes, which vary in detail, depending on how the teacher is choosing to deliver a core study. Teachers may require their students to complete an Evaluation Sheet, in which case the introductory material is briefer than if, under the pressure of limited time, teachers are aiming to cover a core study in just a couple of lessons (which is possible, but not desirable) In the latter case the notes given to students will be more comprehensive. (see notes on Rosenhan)
In the second year students receive packs on each of the 14 syllabus headings of the two specialist options they are studying. However, this material is only the starting point for lessons, and used exclusively would only very partially satisfy the requirements of the markscheme. Members of the department spend classtime focusing on evaluation issues and applications in several different ways. (see notes on Personal Space and Territory)
