THE COLLEGE

Greenhead College is an outstandingly successful Sixth Form College catering for c1,900 16-19 year olds following Advanced level courses. There is a very happy atmosphere: students and staff are mutually positive about education, which is a major factor in the college’s superb performance in exam results, both raw and value-added, and grade ‘A’ financial status is enjoyed. The college enjoys Beacon status and had a recent outstanding Ofsted report.

LIBRARY ASSISTANT - further details

GC Scale 2/3 (pts 15-21) Actual Salary £12,845 - £14,607 per annum
8.15am to 4.15pm, 37 hrs per week
Term time only plus three enrolment days
To start 16 April 2012
The tasks are varied, including regular shelving and tidying of resources and supporting students in their learning. Experience of library or other customer service work, including dealing directly with the public, would be an advantage.
