Library
Located at the heart of the College, the Library is a welcoming, modern hub designed to support every student’s success. It provides an impressive educational support service for the whole College community, offering a flexible, silent environment for all study styles.
The Library houses a wide-ranging book collection of over 9,000 volumes, alongside journals and periodicals covering A Level subjects, careers and current affairs. An extensive archive is also available to support in-depth research. A large and regularly updated fiction section encourages students to read for pleasure, with initiatives such as the Greenhead Reading Challenge and subject-specific reading lists promoting wider reading beyond the curriculum.
Students benefit from a comfortable and well-equipped study environment, with dedicated study spaces and access to LapSafe lockers for borrowing laptops. Whether you are working independently or with another student, the Library’s bookable study pods provide a focused, private setting to maximise productivity.
The Library also features a convenient on-site stationery shop, offering affordable, high-quality essentials. Students can either drop in or use the Click and Collect service for added ease.
Beyond the Library, additional study rooms located across the College campus provide further opportunities for independent learning, including silent, quiet and collaborative workspaces. These spaces are equipped with computers and supported by on-hand IT assistance and academic support, ensuring students always have access to the resources they need to succeed.
