Oxbridge
An event in A1, hosted by Greenhead, where admissions staff and current students (former GC) from Oxford/Cambridge give information about making an application to these universities.
All prospective applicants will get the opportunity to attend the Summer Open Days. Greenhead has strong links with many Oxbridge Colleges, and students will spend the night in a College. Many departments also run subject trips to Oxford/Cambridge.
In the autumn term of A2, students will be allocated an Oxbridge Tutor. They will have weekly, subject-specific sessions in small groups, helping prepare for Personal Statements, Admissions Tests as well as the interview.
Greenhead arranges at least one mock interview in preparation for the ‘real thing’. We organise an afternoon/evening for this with an incredible team of volunteers from local academia and industry.
Greenhead College has a well-deserved, nationwide reputation for its Oxbridge success. We consistently send more students to Oxford/Cambridge than any other school/college outside of London and the SE. Our students have a track record of academic excellence during their university careers.
