Operation Encompass
Operation Encompass is a police and education early information‑sharing partnership that enables schools and colleges to offer immediate support to children and young people experiencing domestic abuse.
Information is shared by the police with the College’s Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, or Safeguarding Officer prior to the start of the next school day after officers have attended an incident identified as domestic abuse. This enables the College to provide appropriate support, depending on the needs and wishes of the student(s).
For more information, please visit the Operation Encompass website.
