Where are you located?
We are located in the centre of Huddersfield next to Greenhead Park. Huddersfield bus and train stations are just a 5 minute walk away. For more information on how to find us, please visit our contact us page.
What are the entry requirements?
All prospective students must achieve a GCSE grade 4 or higher in both GCSE English Language and GCSE Mathematics.
In addition to this, students must also achieve a minimum of grade 6 in at least three GCSE subjects.

What courses do you offer?
Greenhead College is a Sixth Form College which offers A Levels and a handful of vocational courses including a Level 3 Diploma in Medical Science, a Level 3 Cambridge Technical Extended Certificate in Health and Social Care and a BTEC in Music Performance (all equivalent to one A Level). When are your next Open Events?
Our Open Events for 2025 entry will take place on:
- Saturday, 5 October 2024 9.30am* – 2.30pm (last admittance 2pm)
- Tuesday, 22 October 2024 5.30pm – 8.30pm (last admittance 8pm)
Saturday 5 October Quiet Hour
From 9.30 until 10.30 we will be providing a quiet hour for students and parents to have a look around the College This time is for those students/parents who may have sensory needs and would prefer a less busy environment. A Principal’s talk will also be available within this hour. We kindly ask that you leave this time for those who really need it, so the open morning can be enjoyed by everyone.

What financial support is available?
If your family is on a low income or you encounter any financial difficulties in special circumstances, you may be eligible for financial assistance from the Student Bursary Fund. Please see our Bursary page for more information.
