Young Carers

Greenhead College has received the Quality Standard in Carer Support (QSCS) Accreditation for its work supporting young carers.

A Young Carer is anybody who is under the age of 18 and has regular caring responsibilities at home. This can include assisting with personal care, housekeeping, administering medication, emotional support and financial management, to name a few.

We are committed to identifying students who are young carers, so we can support them to successfully access their studies and other parts of College life and reach their true potential. Please let us know on application if you are a young carer.
