Creating a Parent Account for CEDAR

  1. Parents can create a CEDAR account at the following url: https://cedar.greenhead.ac.uk/auth/account/create
  2. After following this link, you will be directed to the below page where you can begin creating your account.

*Please note the Student Reference refers to the student number and not the Student Name

3. If the email address and student reference (student number) match the records on the college systems, an email will be sent with a link to finalise creating the account by setting a password.

*Please note that this link will expire once used or if not used after 24 hours.

4. After clicking on the link in the email, you will be directed to a page where you can create a password for your account.

5. Once you have set the password, you will then be able to access CEDAR using your personal email address and the password you have created.

Reset Password for CEDAR Parent Account

1. Parents can reset the password for their CEDAR account at the following url: https://cedar.greenhead.ac.uk/auth/resetparent?username=EMAIL_ADDRESS

2. After following this link, you will be directed to the below page where you can begin resetting the password for your account.

*Please note the Student Reference refers to the student number and not the Student Name

3. If the email address, student username (student number) and student date of birth match the records on the college systems, an email will be sent with a link to reset your password.

*Please note that this link will expire once used or if not used after 24 hours.

4. After clicking on the link in the email, you will be directed to a page where you can create a password for your account.

5. Once you have reset the password, you will then be able to access CEDAR using your personal email address and your new password.

College Assessment Points (CAPS) on CEDAR

1. The CEDAR website can be found at https://cedar.greenhead.ac.uk/



2. Login using your email address and password, you will then see your home screen.

3. Click on the Curriculum and Achievement section, and then the College Assessment Points (CAPS) link in the green menu bar, which expands from the left hand side of the screen when you hover over it or tap on the CEDAR logo.

4. Click on the hyperlink to the relevant College Assessment Point to view the subject grades

Update Contact Details on CEDAR

This guide will show you how to update your contact details on CEDAR. It is important that your contact details are kept up to date.

1. In a browser, go to https://cedar.greenhead.ac.uk/ and sign in using your child’s college student reference number e.g., s212345 and the password you set when creating your account.

2. Once you have signed in, go the menu on the left-hand side of the screen. From the list of options, choose Update Details. You can then choose from Update Contact Details or Update Medical Details. Select Update Contact Details.

3. You should now be on the update my details page.

*Click on the ‘Check your details here’ link, to check your current details.

4. Fill out the form with your contact details and any additional information.

5. Before submitting the form, check your details are correct. Once you have checked the details, click submit form.

6. Once you have clicked submit, you should receive a message confirming that the information has been sent for processing.

How to Email Your Student’s Tutor/Teacher(s) on CEDAR

The CEDAR website can be found at https://cedar.greenhead.ac.uk/
A) Login using your email address and password, you will then see your home screen.

B) Access the menu on the left-hand side of the screen, either by hovering over it or clicking on CEDAR logo.
Now click on ‘Email Teachers’.

C) You should now be on the email teacher’s page. Select a teacher from the options in the ‘Not Selected’
box and click the left arrow to move them into the ‘Selected’ box.

D) Complete the rest of the form, and then click ‘Submit Form’ to send your email.
Please select your email address from the dropdown, give your email a subject and then type your
message.
