Greenhead College Leads the Way with Extraordinary 2026 A Level Results

The A Level results achieved by students at Greenhead College in August 2026 are extraordinary, continuing our long-standing tradition of academic excellence.

The Class of 2026 should be immensely proud of their achievements. 31.7% of students attained the highest grades of A* and A, while 64.7% secured A*, A or B grades. An impressive 86.3% of students achieved grade C or higher, and the College maintained an exceptional overall pass rate of 99.1%, surpassing its already strong performance results in previous years.

Principal Mo Bunter praised both students and staff for their hard work and commitment:

“I am truly inspired by the Class of 2026. They have worked incredibly hard, accessing the wide variety of academic and pastoral support available to them, which has allowed them to achieve to their full potential. This commitment has allowed them to progress on to their preferred destination choice, whether that is an apprenticeship, employment or degree.”

Mo added:

“These achievements don’t just happen; they are the result of an investment in the best teachers, tutors and support staff, who support our students throughout their two-year journey at the College. This includes having high expectations, providing outstanding study spaces, so that student develop their independent study skills, social spaces where they can relax and have fun with their friends, alongside opportunities that bring their subjects to life outside of the classroom. When students leave Greenhead, they don’t just leave with extraordinary exam results, they leave as strong resilient young adults, who are ready for the world of work.”
