Oxbridge Workshop: Taking the Next Step Towards Oxford and Cambridge

Eighty students recently attended our Oxbridge Workshop, designed to help them prepare for the university admissions process, including admissions tests and interviews.

Here at Greenhead College, we strive to ensure students are fully equipped to compete at the highest level through our dedicated Oxbridge Programme.

As part of this programme, the Oxbridge Workshop was led by staff and students from both the University of Cambridge and the University of Oxford, providing valuable first-hand insight into applying to and studying at these prestigious institutions.

The workshop began with a Q&A panel, where students had the opportunity to ask questions about university life, applications and the admissions process. Students then split into six subject-specific groups to take part in interview-style discussions, giving them a taste of the academic conversations and critical thinking expected at Oxbridge interviews.

The workshop provided an excellent opportunity for students to build confidence, develop their interview skills and gain a deeper understanding of what to expect when applying to Oxford or Cambridge.
