Annual Sports Awards 2023
12 May 2023On Wednesday 10th May, we celebrated another incredibly successful year of sport at our annual Sports Awards. The awards were an opportunity to celebrate the successes of our students and their respective competitive sports teams and say to goodbye to our A2 students.
We offer competitive sports teams in Football, Basketball, Rugby League, Hockey and Netball. It’s been a fantastic year of sport, and the highlights include:
- Silver Medal for the Mixed Hockey team at the AoC Sport National Cup Finals
- Silver Medal for the Men’s Hockey team at the AoC Sport National Cup Finals
- Silver Medal for the Netball team at the AoC Sport National Cup Finals
- Men’s Football first team were winners in their league
- Women’s Football team were winners in their league
- Men’s Rugby League team were winners in their league (beating some tough competition including Halifax Panthers and Huddersfield Giants Development Academy)
