Open Events
Our Open Events for 2025 entry will take place on:
- Saturday, 5 October 2024 9.30am* – 2.30pm (last admittance 2pm)
- Tuesday, 22 October 2024 5.30pm – 8.30pm (last admittance 8pm)
Please note – the above dates will be the only Open Events that we will run for 2025 admissions.
Applications for 2025 entry will close on Monday, 2 December 2024.
Information for Tuesday 22 October
Talk Times
During the event there will be 5 talks delivered by College Principal, Mo Bunter, at the following times:
- 5.45pm
- 6.15pm
- 6.45pm
- 7.15pm
- 7.45pm
These will all take place in the Hirst Building Main Hall. These talks do fill up fast, we recommend arriving 5-10 minutes before the start time to ensure you can find a seat.
There will also be an Oxbridge talk delivered by our Oxbridge Coordinator at 6.45pm. This will be located in R20, on the top floor of the Rostron Building.
Parking
Please note that the main College car park will be for staff use only.
Parking is available at the following locations:
- Park Avenue Car Park (this is our second car park that we will keep clear for visitor use. Please note that parking is limited and available on a first come, first served basis. This car park is located on Park Avenue, just off Greenhead Road. It is clearly signed as a car park for Greenhead College use).
- Around Greenhead Park (free parking around the park next door)
- Springwood Car Park (HD1 4BU)
If you are unable to park in these locations, then please try the local car parks in Huddersfield Town Centre.
Accessible parking onsite
If you hold a blue badge and require accessible parking on the day, please email marketing@greenhead.ac.uk with your name and registration number. These spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis for blue badge holders only.
