Enrolment Information 2025
All offer holders must enrol after they have received their GCSE results. Offer holders can either enrol online on Thursday 21 August, or in person at Greenhead College on Thursday 21 August or Friday 22 August. Further correspondence on how to enrol will be sent out in due course.
1. If an offer holder meets the following three criteria:
- Has met the College’s minimum entry requirements, which are: at least Grade 4 in English Language GCSE, at least Grade 4 in Mathematics GCSE and at least Grade 6 in three GCSE subjects
- Has met the minimum subject entry requirements
- Does not want to change their subject choices from interview
They can enrol online between 09:00 and 16:00 on Thursday 21 August.
2. If an offer holder has not met the minimum subject entry requirements for a subject:
They will not be able to study it at Greenhead College. They can attend an in-person enrolment interview to discuss other subject options.
3. If an offer holder has not met the College’s minimum entry requirements:
Which are at least Grade 4 in English Language GCSE, at least Grade 4 in Mathematics GCSE and at least Grade 6 in three GCSE subjects, then they can’t enrol at Greenhead College. They should enrol with another provider.
Enrolment will finish at 12:00 on Friday 22 August, so that students’ timetables can be produced for Induction Day.
All applicants that have accepted a conditional offer to study at Greenhead College (offer holders) should be aware that it is not possible to change their choice of subjects until enrolment. While every attempt will be made to accommodate any requests to change subjects at enrolment, this cannot be guaranteed.
If an offer holder wants to change their subjects, due to not meeting the minimum subject entry requirements or because they have changed their mind then they must attend an in-person enrolment interview at Greenhead College on either of the following dates:
- Between 11:00 and 16:00 on Thursday 21 August
- Between 09:00 and 12:00 on Friday 22 August
While every attempt will be made to accommodate any requests to change subjects, this cannot be guaranteed.
If an offer holder can’t enrol during the enrolment period, there may be the opportunity for late enrolment on Tuesday 26 August, but this is subject to the availability of places. Offer holders are not guaranteed a place at Greenhead College if they don’t enrol online on Thursday 21 August, or in person at Greenhead College on Thursday 21 August or Friday 22 August.
Offer holders should contact the College in advance if they wish to be considered for late enrolment, which is subject to availability.
If an offer holder can’t enrol during the enrolment period, they should apply for a place at another provider, whose enrolment they can attend. Places are not guaranteed at Greenhead College for offer holders that can’t attend enrolment.
Young people that are not offer holders can apply for late consideration from Thursday 21 August, by using the College’s application form cedar.greenhead.ac.uk/apply. Late enrolment may be offered, in-person at Greenhead College on Tuesday 26 August, subject to the availability of places. A late consideration application doesn’t guarantee an enrolment interview or a place at Greenhead College.
All new students must attend Induction Day on Friday 29 August. Students will receive information about Greenhead College, collect their student ID, be given a tour and be able to collect their timetable.
The first day of teaching will be Monday 01 September. Students will have lessons according to their timetable.
