GC students shine as they chair youth voice meeting on climate change

A big well done to GC students Rohan, Hawwa, Ania and Grace who represented Greenhead College magnificently at the recent Yorkshire & Humber Climate Commission Meeting.

During the youth-voice session they each chaired the discussions of a table of decision-makers from across the region. Senior representatives from organisations in the public, private and third sectors were invited to answer questions young people had submitted on a wide range of topics relating to climate change and the nature emergency.

All four students were outstanding ambassadors for the College as they led with great confidence and provided brilliant feedback on their discussions.

Yorkshire and Humber recently published their latest Climate Action Plan for 2024, which you can find here: https://bit.ly/4eogGvc
