Greenhead College Students Excel in Bebras Coding Challenge
07 May 2026Greenhead College is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of its A1 Computer Science students in the 2026 Bebras Coding Challenge.
Bebras is a 45-minute coding competition designed to enhance problem-solving abilities, build confidence, and inspire students to develop logical and efficient programmed solutions.
The 2026 challenge took place in March, just ahead of students’ mock examinations, making their exceptional performance even more impressive. Each year, the full cohort of A1 Computer Science students at Greenhead takes part, tackling one of the two most advanced levels available.
Gold Award
A particularly noteworthy achievement this year was the exceptional success of students who earned the Gold Award, placing them in the top 10% nationally. This is a highly competitive benchmark, highlighting not only their technical ability, but also their resilience and critical thinking under pressure.
