Role 1 15 hours per week, 4.00pm to 7.00 pm (Monday to Friday)
Role 2 12.5 hours per week, 4.00pm to 6.30pm (Monday to Friday)
Role 3 5 hours per week, 3.00pm to 5.30pm (Wednesday), 4.00pm to 6.30pm (Thursday)
Permanent.
During the College holidays, the working hours can be worked flexibly between 7.30 am and 5.30 pm (to be agreed with the Cleaning Supervisor).

You will be supported by a highly professional and committed College Leadership Team, a dedicated and skilled Board of Governors and a Clerk to the Corporation. A passion for education, sensitivity to the region’s demographics and an understanding of the College’s role in the community are vital, alongside skills to lead the Corporation.

Able to offer your time flexibly, you will commit on average four to five hours a week (25 hours a month) to your role during the period September to mid-July.

This is a voluntary role, and expenses will be paid in line with the Board’s policy.

Corporation meets four times each year, normally at 4.30pm on a Monday. Governor development sessions run for 30 minutes prior to all Corporation meetings.

Term:                          The appointment will be for a first term of office of four years.

Time Commitment:      Corporation meets six times each year, normally at 4.30pm on a Monday.  Governors also participate in Committee meetings (some of which are virtual) as well as a strategic away day in November/December.

Salary:                        The role is unremunerated.
